Most of our positions are full-time on a rotating roster. (I.e. working morning, afternoon and night shifts). In most instances shifts are rotated equally among the staff on the ward, and you should expect to work all shifts allocated to you. 12 hour shifts are not so common in Australia but are offered in some wards. The average working week is 38-40 hours and most people work an 8 hour shift. On a rotating roster annual leave is generally 6 weeks.
